about
Cascadia Campout is different from other festivals.
This is an intentional gathering with a purpose to share diverse forms of expression, honor the land, and deepen connection in the Pacific Northwest.
🎶 By sharing diverse forms of expression, we can highlight the wide range of creativity throughout the Pacific Northwest, emerging through many different forms of music, art, education, movement, and healing.
🌲 By honoring the land, we can gain a stronger sense of reverence for nature, viewing ourselves not just as mere consumers on the planet, but as responsible caretakers of the Earth that sustains us.
🌀 By deepening connection, we can strengthen our relationships with the land, with our communities, and with ourselves, allowing us to gain a deeper sense of understanding, respect, and compassion for all beings.
We Acknowledge All The Indigenous People Whose Land We Stand on. we recognize we are guests on this land, and we express our respect for the Kalapuya peoples who have stewarded this region for generations. To The many other indigenous Ancestors Who Are Connected To This Land, We Thank You With Deep Respect And we humbly Honor you.
